Spanish Castles
Castillo de Coca - Segovia Province
This palatial fortress represents the pinnacle
of medieval Spanish castle architecture. The Archbishop of
Seville built it in the 1400s. It is a striking example of
Spanish-Moorish design harmony.
The masonry contains alternating colors
of brick, adding to this castle's beauty. The towers feature
high merlons and the walls have many torres de homenaje.
